Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen is my name. I'm a Vietnamese American Entrepreneur living in Orange County California. My amazing fiance JP, and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry are also part of our extended family. People often recognize me as @annephung on Instagram which is where I share my journey - from the ups to the downs. My family moved to America. At the age of one and a quarter I was accepted into my parents. As I knew I could be a successful person, I was determined to succeed and make my parents proud. My goals were set as follows: I'd study at university, land an employment in a company then marry, and purchase the house. While I believed this was the definition of the ideal life, reality had other plans. When I was in 2013, I started dreading going to my corporate job. The money and the status did not bring me joyand I was feeling like I was wasting my time and energy for a paycheck when I knew I was destined for something more. As I began to move towards my new life path I discovered that personal training was the career path I was looking for. I am a lover for fitness, and I love being in the company of people and am eager to help those around me. I began my business in 2014. It is my seventh birthday this year. In this field there is a lack of Asian women. My mission in this field is to create a more sustainable and healthier lifestyle that meets the needs of my customers. Additionally, I aim to inspire others to pursue their goals and dreams in order to achieve whatever they wish to do. While my professional life began to take off, I was struck by one of the biggest losses in my life to datein the death of my mom. Her battle for 8 years with Scleroderma is over, and she lies in Heaven. Her memory will forever remain in my thoughts and my mind. It's amazing how the world can give us the exact lesson we need, even when we don't realize that it is there. Many ways, my mother's passing affected me in many ways. It is my belief that she offered me another chance to live through her demise. In the morning of Tet/Lunar New Year Day, she died. It was now time to go on to the next chapter of her life as well as my opportunity to lead an authentic and satisfying life. Now into my 30's I feel alive and aware of the fact like I'm living my life today and not merely existing like the person I was back in my previous. I am sharing my experiences to you with the hope that you'll be able to connect by my experiences and words for you to feel secure knowing that you're not on your own, to be aware that you are beyond capable of anything you set your mind to the fact that real love is there and therapy is normal and needed as health is the greatest form of wealth. My hope is to live your life at its best and have no regrets when it comes to the end of your life. The death of a person is the only assurance in this the world.
